M. Jones Tattoos

Michael Jones is a lifelong artist and the owner of Jones Co. Creative Space, a private tattoo and art studio in Western Massachusetts. With over 16 years of professional tattooing experience across shops like Fabulous Ink and Instinkt Tattoos, Michael now works out of his own space — where the focus is on custom work, comfortable sessions, and getting you the best tattoo possible at a price that works for you.

His specialty is black and gray realism, but he's equally at home with color work, animal pieces, landscapes, and portraits. Every piece is designed from scratch, tailored to your vision.

What to Expect

Michael charges $150/hr with an $80 minimum for any tattoo. Here's a general idea of timing:

• Detailed portrait: 2–3+ hours (longer with background or clothing detail)
• Simple half sleeve: 4–5 hours
• Detailed half sleeve: 6–8 hours
• Full sleeve: 12–16+ hours (a full outer sleeve can be done in about half that)

Color tattoos generally take longer than black and gray. Michael works with clients on budgets — you'll always get his best work at a price you can afford.

Booking & Deposits

A deposit is required to book a date, and it's applied toward the final cost of your tattoo.

• Under 30 minutes: $40 deposit
• Under 2 hours: $80 deposit
• Over 2 hours: $100 deposit
• Full day (7 hours of tattooing): $1,000

Must be 18 or older.

Beyond Tattoos

Jones Co. Creative Space is more than a tattoo studio. Michael is also a painter, muralist, sculptor, and the creator of the Bee Greater brand. The studio offers laser engraving, paint and sips, adult art classes, and 3D-printed sculptures — all at competitive prices.
